Mattia Chiaruttini, ecommerce marketing consultant since 2016

I’m Mattia Chiaruttini and I’ve worked in digital marketing since 2016. As a marketing consultant I help ecommerce brands and small businesses grow with strategy, advertising and data. In my spare time I sell toilet paper (seriously).

My story

From a blog to running an ecommerce brand

I registered as a freelancer in March 2016, at 21. I started as a beginner blogger and learned marketing on the job: first with small businesses, then with companies and startups.

Over the years I’ve worked with more than 70 companies. I’ve seen campaigns take off and campaigns fail, and I’ve learned that the difference is rarely the tool: it’s the strategy behind it.

In 2022 I co-founded Gastona. Running an ecommerce brand with your own money changes your perspective: every euro spent on advertising has to come back, preferably with interest.

How I work

Four principles I stick to

Numbers before opinions

Every choice is measured. If it doesn’t work, we change it, without getting attached to ideas.

Straight talk

If a channel doesn’t make sense for you, I’ll say so, even if it means less work for me.

Creativity with a purpose

Gastona’s humor was there to sell, not just to make people laugh.

An owner’s point of view

I’ve managed the budget and margins of my own ecommerce brand: I think about yours as if it were mine.

A 30-minute call to understand where you are, where you want to go and whether I can help. If I’m not the right person, I’ll tell you right away.
